It all started when…

God gave a vision of a cafe in the small hall. It started simple, ‘lets clear the room, and put some fresh paint on the walls.’ It quickly became apparent that the task at hand was larger than what we had originally anticiapated.

However, God provided every step of the way. From donations of materials, equipment, time and funds, in addition to some amazing grant givers (big thanks to the Gamlingay Turbine Fund, EBA Home Mission and Cambridgeshire Community Chest)

We transformed the small hall into The Backroom Cafe! We can’t thank everyone enough for their amazing support. The work was all completed by a small team of volunteers, so the process was slow. But, now we are excited for the community resource that The Backroom Cafe will be.
